TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SHIPMENT
PT JARINGAN EKSPEDISI TRANSPORTASI – JET express
This Terms & Conditions of Shipment is an approved agreement between JET express and the shipper of the shipment that will / are / have been transported to the addressee.
  1. JET express means all JET express agents that have been registered bounded by cooperation agreement between PT Jaringan Ekspedisi Transportasi with agents that are using JET express trademark.
  2. Sender means any individual or legal entity written in the sender's column in a waybill at the rate determined by JET express.
  3. Shipment means all documents or letters and packages submitted by the sender by following delivery criteria specified JET express.
  1. CRITERIA OF SHIPMENT
    1. Shipment excludes prohibited goods such as flammable or combustible goods / liquids, illegal drugs, genuine firearms or replicas, explosives and ammunition, pornographic and stolen goods.
    2. Shipments are not all objects included in the category of valuable items such as cash checks or securities investment, gold, silver, coins and other precious stones.
    3. The sender cannot deliver any animal or plants.
    4. Sender shall borne the responsibility to protect the shipment from loss or damage with insurance in accordance with applicable provisions. The insurance premium shall be borne by sender to a third party that has been appointed by JET express. Compensation for insured items in accordance with applicable provisions in JETexpress.
    5. The sender shall include the full name and address of the destination of the shipment
    6. The sender grants JET express the right to open and inspect the shipment to ensure the shipment is feasible to be transported to the destination address according to operational requirements, Customs and Excise process, and shipment handling methods of JET express.
    7. JET express has the right to specify a transport company that is deemed suitable and good for the security of shipment
    8. The sender will not oppress or sue JET express for damages caused by its own negligence in the delivery of the above illicit goods without JET express’ knowledge
    9. JET express reserves the right to act if the sender is found to be violating the above policy, especially point a, as form of obedience to the rules prevailing in Indonesia.
  2. SHIPPING COSTS
    1. JET express has set the rate applicable by the weight / volume of the mail, the address of origin and destination and special packaging
    2. The rate is notified and approved by the sender on every transaction made.
    3. JET express informs the rates and changes from time to website www.jetexpress.co.id.
    4. The rate specified includes airport fees, and Value Added Tax (VAT), excludes Import Duty, Import Levy or Deposit for the shipment
    5. Created waybill can be voided under the following conditions:
      • If the shipment still in the JET express outlet, the shipping cost (insurance fee, packing and others) will be refunded with Rp.1.000, - (one thousand rupiah) deduction.
      • If the shipment still in the original city branch, the shipping cost (insurance fee, packing and others) will be refunded 50%.
      • If the shipment has reached the destination city, waybill cannot be voided. If the shipment wants to be sent to another address, it will be charged according to the applicable provisions.
  3. GUARANTEE & INDEMNITY
    1. Indemnification shall only be granted if the shipment is damaged or lost due to negligence of JET express employees and during shipment that is still under JET express control.
    2. The sender is waives the claim and loses the shipment if:
      1. The sender is negligent in packing the mail and / or rejecting the JETexpress suggestion to use the packing special cause of damage to the contents of the shipment.
      2. Damage and loss of goods beyond the control of JETexpress e.g. natural disaster or Force Majeure.
      3. There is damage to liquid, fragile and dried food packages.
    3. If the sender is not using insurance, total value of the indemnity given shall not exceed 10 (ten) times the shipping fee or maximum Rp2.000.000,- for domestic Indonesia destination and $ 100 (one hundred US Dollars) for shipment destination outside Indonesia without any commercial content submissions.
    4. Insurance premium and handling fee are 0.2% of the goods value.
    5. The sender's claim to JET express’ obligation and responsibility must be submitted in writing within the term of 1 (one) day after the date of the mail has arrived at the destination.
    6. Claiming requirements (required documents) must be delivered within 7 x 24 hours :
      1. Shipper’s identity
      2. Valid Airway Bill/Waybill number
      3. Goods purchase receipt
      4. Complaint letter for lost and damaged goods
      5. Photograph of shipped damaged goods
JET express Outlet Partnership is agency program owned by JET express so that the public can seize business opportunities in the field of logistic especially in courier and delivery.

JET express has collaborated with several marketplaces, even though we are not yet a shipping partner for major e-marketplaces such as tokopedia, Bukalapak, and Shopee. We are constantly trying to get into the big e-Marketplace but the decision to enter or not is the prerogative of each e-marketplace.

We will inform you when we are able to enter the e-marketplace. On the other hand, JET express is seeing growth in other channels, namely through online shops selling via Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram which we call DirectToSeller.

Some of our services such as COD (cash-on-delivery) can be used to optimize this DirectToSeller service. Therefore, we encourage outlet partners to jointly maximize DirectToSeller services in order to expand our customer segments.
There are courier companies that have similar names, brands and colors to JET express. But our brand and company are different from them. Therefore, we recommend that you to be careful when using shipping services, especially JET express, you have to pay attention to the logo, colors and special features of JET express.

JET express provides a discount account for Outlet Partners with the name JETid Cash which is expected to attract customers and increase the load of Outlet Partners. With tiering discounts as follows:
1. Plafond ≤ 10% Commission 20% Total 30%
2. Plafond 11% - 15% Commission 20% Total 35%
3. Plafond 16% - 20% Commission 15% Total 35%
Outlet partners direct customers to download JET express application on Play Store (for Android users) and App Store (for Apple users), so they can get a JETid account and later it can be used in all JET express outlets. JETid registered through the JET express application automatically gets a 10% discount.
Outlet partners can add value discounts for their outlets and customers according to the applied T&C through RM Officer. Next, the RM Officer will ontact haloagen@jetexpress.co.id to process the addition of the discount value.
In this 2021 period, JET express provides a 25% Commission program (previously 20%) which Outlet Partners can get if their turnover reaches the applicable provisions.
  • If the Outlet Partner wants to end his collaboration or partnership with JET express, you can contact the RM team or call the WA number: 081113207759 or email Haloagen@jetexpress.com our team will help to prepare the partnership termination requirements.
  • JET express also has the right not to extend the cooperation that has passed the previous PKS validity period, and if the Outlet Partner does not sign the automatic extension of the cooperation agreement ends. This procedure cannot be contested for any reason
JET express and outlet partners can terminate this cooperation or partnership for some reason, in condition the partnership fee money cannot be returned, but the equipment obtained is the property of the Outlet Partner.

  • If the agreement period ends, the User-id is automatically disabled and cannot be extended again

Before sending the betta fish, it is recommended that the sender contact the JET Express call center to get a booking code or confirmation related to picking up goods (booking pick up) to the sender's address. The sender can also go directly to your nearest JET Express branch or outlet.
Currently, fish delivery is available for betta fish only.
Delivery destinations are available for Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi), Local (city courier), Java region (provincial capital).
The minimum weight of shipment for special cargo for betta fish is 10 kg.
Since fish delivery requires special handling and does not mix with other items, a handling fee of 50% of the total shipping cost will be charged.
Quarantine certificates can be arranged through JET Express and will be charged a fee of IDR 45,000 per shipment. If the sender already has a quarantine letter, the sender can submit it to JET Express.
The sender must arrange a quarantine letter for the shipment of Betta fish, which can be arranged at the Special Certification Center for animals. Based on the provisions of the PP. 19 of 2006 concerning Tariffs on Types of Non-Tax State Revenues within the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries.

What is needed by the sender so that the delivery of the betta fish to its destination is safe, namely:
  • Conditioning betta fish are nutritious enough
  • Check the PH of water and oxygen in the water is sufficient during delivery
  • Cover a plastic fish wrap with newspaper or use Styrofoam
Complete packing required:
  • Styrofoam
  • Plastic fish container
  • Plastic wrap
  • Cardboard
  • Duct tape
  • Broken or fragile marks
The mechanism of packing (wrapping) betta fish, namely:
  • Put the water and fish in the plastic.
  • The volume of water should not exceed half of the package or should not exceed that of the package so that water may spill.
  • Put the packed fish and water in the plastic, and the plastic must be double-coated so that no leakage occurs.
  • Put the packed fish and water into Styrofoam with sufficient size or press it so that it doesn't shake easily.
  • Close the Styrofoam tightly with adhesive such as duct tape and enter the Styrofoam into the box/cardboard according to the Styrofoam size.
  • Followed by closing the cardboard tightly and wrapping it with plastic wrap.
  • Attach delivery and consignee data (name, address, and contact phone number) on the goods to be sent via the expedition.
  • Prepare betta fish samples to be sent via JET Express to be checked on the side of the local animal quarantine agency/airport. Place the packed fish and water samples next to the packing so that quarantine officers can check.
JET Express service that can only be used for betta fish shipments is the XPS JET Express service (same day / 1 day).
Yes, the sender must make a power of attorney which will later be addressed to the expedition about the management at the local quarantine office. Accompanied by a statement letter of release of responsibility for JET Express as a transporter company from all claims for damage, dead betta fish, and others made by the sender.
  • Betta fish can survive without eating for a maximum of 10 days.
  • Betta fish that want to be shipped must be in good health.
  • Quarantine rates are subject to change at any time based on the decision of the Indonesian government through the relevant ministries.
  • Previously, the sender had to call the JET Express call center to get a booking/confirmation code related to item collection (booking pick up) at the sender's address. The sender can also go directly to your nearest JET Express branch or outlet.
  • To prevent the occurrence of transmission of disease in the plants to be sent, it is required that the sending party first inspects the Indonesian government institution, especially aimed at the Ministry of Agriculture specifically in the field of plants.
The types are agricultural products with nursery methods such as ornamental plants, ornamental plants, and the like.

  • Statement of liability release for JET Express as a transporter company from all claims for damage, dead plants, and others made by the sender.
  • Choose a packaging that is in good condition, strong, and fit for use
  • Packaging must be able to protect the product in good condition and not easily destroyed during delivery
  • Packaging must withstand environmental change factors so as not to damage the product inside during delivery
  • The packaging must be strong enough to protect the product, if the packaging is stacked up to 3 meters with a package that has a similar weight, at least 2 x 24 hours without damage to the packaging at the bottom
  • Put into Packing:
    • The packaging of plants uses wooden packing materials when sending plants and plant seeds because it is much stronger than packing with cardboard.
    • Can take advantage of scrap wood used to cast buildings that are formed into blocks.
    • Then put all the plants that want to be sent into the packing.
    • Next, wrap the packing using plastic, then cover it again with tape on the top until it is completely tight, and cover the base with additional Styrofoam to prevent collisions when the product is slammed during the shipping process.
    • Close and seal the Styrofoam box according to JET Express standards so that the product can arrive safely.
  • The sealing of the shipment is as follows:
    • Glue at least 3 wide strips of tape on both the top and bottom of the cardboard.
    • Seal all parts of the packing joints with H-Method sealing.
    • Place all shipping labels on the widest surface area
    • Place the perishable label on the outside of the package. THIS WAY UP label, with arrows pointing upwards on each side of the package.
    • Include the name of the sender and recipient, address, and telephone number.
    • Required temperature information.
    • The date of packing ornamental plants before delivery.
    • For sealing Styrofoam packaging, use plastic wrap for the entire Styrofoam.
Based on the provisions of PP. 35 of 2016 concerning Tariffs on Types of Non-Tax State Revenues The scope of the Ministry of Agriculture, namely the calculation of the costs to be charged during quarantine / the agricultural service is based on per plant, per tuber, per bottle, per pot depending on the type of ornamental plant.
Services used must use XPS for 1 (one) day to the destination address and Same Day Service with a maximum of 5 (five) hours to the destination.
The category of delivery of ornamental plants & other plants is included in the wet cargo.
Packaging categories that will not be accepted for shipment, namely packages that have damage to the corners, back, or sides and packages that have signs of leakage will be rejected until the packaging is repaired first.
The way of delivery of ornamental plants & similar plants is by Port to Port (Airport to Airport) or delivery to the airport or representative office to be sent to the destination airport.
  • The delivery of ornamental plants depends on the resistance of the plants being sent

Shipments for gold, silver, and jewelry are specifically for Jabodetabek, local (city courier) specifically for large cities, such as Medan, Palembang, Jabodetabek, Bandung, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Malang.

  • The packing method (packing) must use the smallest boxes owned by JET Express. Gold, silver, and jewelry are required to be made immovable by gluing gold, silver,and jewelry with duct tape or the like. Cardboard packing must be sealed tightly so that the shipment does not fall easily or slip through the cardboard hole.
  • Before packaging, check the goods to be sent carefully and must have a valid (official) letter or proof of purchase from the party that sells or releases the item.
  • Gold bars, gold jewelry, and silver products are required to be packed using aluminum foil/silver paper, brown envelopes, plastic and wood, part of the outer or final packing, and or JET Express special cardboard in small sizes and are sealed.

Gold, silver, and jewelry shipments are required to be insured.

In animal packaging, the sender can directly do it according to the standard that has been determined and adjusted to the type of live animal to be sent.
  • Letters & documents needed by the sender before sending animals, namely:
    • Rabies-free certificate for cats and dogs from an accredited veterinary clinic with permission from the relevant department/agency to obtain an Animal Health Certificate issued by a veterinarian.
    • A letter of recommendation from the Livestock Service Office of the destination for delivery, which states that the area is allowed to accept dogs/cats from outside the area.
    • Animal Release Letter from the local Animal Husbandry Service (according to the KTP/ID address)
    • Quarantine letter issued by the local Quarantine Servic
  • Letters & documents needed by the sender for sending poultry, namely:
    • A certificate from the local Animal Husbandry Service stating that the animal is in good health
    • Certificate issued by the local Quarantine Service
  • Animals must be in a healthy condition accompanied by a Health Certificate from an accredited veterinarian / veterinary clinic from the relevant Ministry Office
  • Animals that are pregnant are not acceptable for delivery
  • Cages or cages must be strong and sealed so that the animals to be sent are not easily released
  • Similar poultry uses a special packaging for poultry according to its type and size (standard for sending poultry)

Strongly smelling goods are items that have a very strong odor or fragrance; for example, durian fruit, cempedak fruit, perfume, eucalyptus oil, etc.
Shipments are carried out by large cities, such as: Medan, Palembang, Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, & Bekasi), Bandung, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, and Denpasar.
  • How to make a delivery booking:
    • The sender/customer is asked to contact the JET express call center to get a booking/confirmation code (booking a pick up to the sender’s address).
    • Prepare the package to be sent via JET express
    • Especially for strongly smelling fruit shipments in large quantities or large parties, a letter from the agriculture service or local quarantine service must be attached, assuming that it is collusive.
  • Packaging equipment:

    • Clear plastic according to the size of the plastic container (seal ware / thin wall)

  • How to pack goods so that the odor doesn’t come out:
    • Use plastic seal ware with a material that is safe and strong
    • Duct tape all joints (cover & container) so that scent doesn’t come out and make sure the plastic container can withstand the shock of travel
    • Cover the plastic container with 1 (one) plastic and duct the plastic container again, and tape back the plastic coating tightly
    • Repeat re-coating with plastic as the second layer (2) and tighten it with duct tape so that if it leaks in the plastic, it doesn’t smell and continues by inserting the plastic container that has been coated with plastic into the cardboard and closing tightly using duct tape so that the contents in the cardboard do not easily break
    • Good packaging will keep the strong odor from coming out and be safer
  • How to pack perfume (or similar):
    • Wrap the perfume bottle in cardboard/box one by one to prevent the fragrance bottle from breaking.
    • Cover the perfume bottle that has been wrapped in cardboard with plastic to prevent leakage.
    • Wrap the bottle with Styrofoam and put it in the cardboard according to the bottle size.
    • Wrap the Styrofoam in bubble plastic to prevent collisions with other objects.
    • Specifically, for shipments of perfume (or similar) or items with fragile packaging, it is obligatory to add the outer packaging with wood to prevent damage (breakage).
  • XPS Service, which is specifically for strong-smelling food/fruit shipping; and for perfumes shipping, use Regular Service or Priority Service
  • Regular Service is primarily for shipping that takes a long time and cannot go through air transportation, such as perfume (or similar).
  • Fees charged to the customer/sender are in the form of:
    • Additional charge (surcharge) of 50% of the total shipping cost
    • Special handling fee for strong-smelling fruit, such as durian and cempedak fruit (or similar), is IDR 15,000,- /box
    • Special handling fees for other consumptive goods, such as perfume, eucalyptus oil (or equivalent), will be charged at IDR 8,000,- /box
  • JET express is not responsible for confiscating the goods sent due to technical problems in fund wrapping or not according to the rules and procedures that apply to the airline or the local airport AVSEC.
  • In the packaging of a shipment with a strong odor, it is required to pack/wrap it tightly and neatly so that the smelly air does not come out or smell.
  • Goods sent by customers are NOT CHECKED and written in the DESCRIPTION column.
  • JET express does not provide packaging services specifically for fruit. Still, JET express officers will receive packaging services for consignments other than fruit using wood packaging, and consumers will be charged for the additional packaging fees.
  • Suppose the shipment is made in the JET express outlet partner/agent. In that case, the agent must be directly contacting the JET express branch office in the area so that the package can be picked up immediately by the courier.
  • JET express does not check the goods to be sent. If unwanted things happen, such as rotten shipments, broken shipments, confiscation, and others, JET express as the transporter is not responsible for this incident.
This shipment is specifically for large branches, such as: Medan, Palembang, Jabodetabek, Cianjur, Tasikmalaya, Bandung, Semarang, Solo, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Malang, Denpasar, Makassar, and Balikpapan.

  • Wooden packaging is mandatory.
  • Use bubble plastic to wrap lithium-ion batteries, and in the packaging of the batteries must not be combined with the meaning of the word must be one by one.
  • Wrap or pack the lithium-ion 3 (three) times in folds/turns/bandages, which are then taped per fold/turn/wrap and make a thick packaging, so the batteries do not meet/contact.
  • Wrap/pack if there are minus (-) plus (+) cables to be separated and don't let the minus (-) plus (+) cables meet/contact if they meet during delivery, it is worried that they will burn.
  • Based on the lithium-ion batteries that have been packaged with plastic bubbles, there is no hard contact between 1 (one) battery and another battery if there was a shock during shipping.
  • Put the wrapped battery into a cardboard/box that has been based with a plastic bubble, and the battery is reinforced with a plastic bubble around it, so the contents are solid (does not wobble or move).
  • Cover the cardboard packing with duct tape to make it neat and robust.
  • Wrap the cardboard packaging filled with batteries and add wooden packing on the outside (last) so it doesn't hit if it meets other items or falls.
  • Wood packing resistance with a maximum drop height of 1.5 meters to avoid damage to the battery.
  • To meet IATA Part II shipping requirements, shipments containing batteries and lithium batteries must comply with specific packaging guidelines.
  • Ensure that lithium batteries are individually packaged in a sealed inner package to protect each battery, for example, in a blister pack or cardboard.
  • Ensure that the packaging has been tested to meet the requirements of each test in the UN Tests and Criteria Manual, Part III, paragraph 38.3.
  • Ensure the lithium battery is wholly insulated (inside the equipment or surrounded by plastic with no voids to avoid displacement), except when the proper shipping name ends with "included in the equipment."
  • Place the contents in a solid outer container.
  • Include proper documentation and labels.
  • Packing must be wrapped in thick cardboard, and each battery pack must be wrapped in plastic, so it is protected from being touched by other electronic devices.
  • The standard shipment of 1 Koli is 5 kilograms. If it is more than 5 kilograms, the package must be divided, with each package, not more than 5 kilograms (1 Koli).
  • The battery's condition to be transported must not be used and must be 100% new and original.
  • Each pack containing a battery has a maximum total weight of 5 kilograms and cannot be more.
  • Prepare the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) document as an attachment because it will be needed at the time of delivery and inspection by the CSC Angkasa Pura CSC Regulated Agent, Soekarno Hatta Airport - Cengkareng.
  • The sender or customer is asked to make a Statement Letter related to the contents on the IDR 10,000 stamp duty, related to a statement that the battery being transported is 100% new (original) and not in a damaged or defective condition and the battery is 30% charged.
  • And in the Statement Letter, it is also stated that if something happens that can harm other shipments or losses to the transportation vendor, it is not the responsibility of JET Express. It will be entirely the responsibility of the sender or customer.
That is the Regular Service specifically for deliveries that take a long time and cannot be transported by air, and are required to be transported by land and sea.

For shipments in large quantities or bulk, the sender or consumer must notify the letter of passing the transportation test from the relevant agency, such as Sucofindo or the agency related to the electrical feasibility test to the JET Express originally and photocopy.
  • JET Express is not responsible for confiscating the goods sent due to technical packaging problems or not according to the rules and procedures applicable to the transport operator.
  • The goods sent by the customer are NOT CHECKED and are written in the REMARK column.
  • JET Express serves packaging services specifically for batteries with the provisions of packing costs by applicable regulations.
  • Suppose the battery is shipped together with another unit or as a single unit. In that case, the battery must be installed in the unit and not allowed to be separated, and carry out package /packaging as in point No. 1.
  • For other packaging models, it is not allowed to use 1 (one) package/packaging for two or more electronic items, such as a power bank with a cellphone. This kind of packaging must be separated and cannot be combined into one unit and must be packaged individually or in different packages/packaging.
  • Power banks or spare lithium batteries carried on airplanes are not connected to other electronic devices. Before sending from the customer, the battery shipment package must be opened and checked for packaging methods.
  • Shipment of batteries can be made simultaneously as the device, as long as the battery is installed correctly and adequately according to the battery installation rules.
  • The types of cellphones that are not allowed to be sent are VIVO brand cellphones of all types because the airline and international flight associations issued the rules for this violation.
This shipment is specifically for city courier in all JET Express branches.
Feces and urine can be delivered only with XPS service
  • Hospital, Clinic, Laboratory, Patient or Health Center had to call JET Express to pick up or deliver the medical example.
  • The JET Express officer in this case the courier comes to the section/ room of the Hospital/ Clinic/ Laboratory/ Patient who will send urine and feces.

  • The time strength of urine and feces in the Dry Box depends on the strength of cooling medium in the box such as ice or dry ice.

  • Especially for liquid goods category and its kind, such as Oil, Soap and Shampoo and its kind can use land or sea transportation, with a note following the procedure
  • Especially for liquid goods category, it is recommended to use land and sea transportation. If through air transportation, you must follow the rules that apply to the airline/airline.
  • Sender or customer had to call JET Express call center to get booking code/confirmation related to picking up goods at sender/customer address.

  • The special handling cost for liquid with big packing, such as 200litter drum will be charged additional cost/handling cost Rp. 200.000,- per drum.
  • Additional cost/handling listed above exclude the delivery fee.
  • JET Express is not responsible if there is a confiscation of the goods sent due to technical problems in packaging and or not according to the rules and procedures applicable to the airline or AVSEC at the local airport.
  • Customers are required to notify of the contents of the goods sent via JET Express
  • In the packaging of the liquid consignment product referred to above, it is mandatory to pack/package it tightly and neatly so that the liquid inside does not come out which can later damage other shipments.
  • JET Express also provides packaging services for liquids and will incur additional packaging fees in accordance with applicable regulations.
